What is Contract Packing?
Contract packing (also referred to as co-packing or reworking) is where a company is hired to package products for a client readying the products for redistribution. Product Pack works with product manufacturers as an extension of their company – to ensure their products are ready for sale.
When it comes to contract packing, there is no “one package fits all” solution. Reworks can be as simple as re-labelling products that have been mislabelled – or they can be more complex. For example, a manufacturer may produce multiple bulk items in need of repackaging into product bundles – a process that would require new product labels too.
